The first housing estate in the city of Zurich planned specifically for students was built in 1992 and comprises 3 buildings in Zurich-Affoltern. The shared flats are each spread over three floors and offer space for 67 students. These are distributed over around 10 flats. The shared living and dining area is located on the ground floor in each case. Due to the vertical distribution of the rooms and the relatively high number of wet rooms, there is a high degree of privacy. Both the proximity to the forest and recreation area and the invitingly designed surroundings are highly appreciated by the students.
